We are seeking applicants for Resident Assistant. Experience is not necessary for this entry level position as we are willing to train you and provide all the support you need to be a successful and valuable member of our team.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors with their personal cares including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, trash removal, etc.
• Pass medications and supervise the resident's self-administration as directed.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical and emotional condition.
• Assist with meals and provide feeding assistance if needed.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in established activity programs.
• Provide redirection and use behavior management techniques as needed.

Shift/Hours

• 6a-2p, 48-56 hours bi-weekly, including every third weekend.

Pay Rate: $17.28 - $19.78

- +$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications!

- Shift differentials for 2p-10p, 10p-6a, and weekends!

-Tuition reimbursement is available for new CNA and TMA certification, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing.

In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
