Pizza Chef at PIsces Rising Fine Dining – Mount Dora, Florida

The Pizza Bar is seeking a talented and creative Pizza Chef to lead our back-of-house operations. We are a hip, alfresco dining destination offering handcrafted cocktails, small bites, and exceptional pizza. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and creativity of our kitchen while delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative pizza recipes and seasonal menu items that align with our brand.
• Oversee back-of-house operations, including food preparation, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and direct supervision.
• Handle food orders, inventory management, and cost control.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to ensure consistency and innovation.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure operational success and address any challenges.
• Coordinate with department heads to organize and execute catering and food service for events.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and regulations.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience preferably in a pizza-focused or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and staff.
• Passion for creative culinary innovation, particularly in pizza and small bites.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
