• Picking up litter around the Las Cruces, NM area
• MUST have reliable transportation

Job Description

Groundskeeping and litter crew workers are responsible for picking up litter and trash in highway areas, groundskeeping, weed eating, and other tasks as assigned.

Basic Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Education - Minimum 8th Grade Education

Experience - Experience in grounds and landscaping, maintenance, painting, and general carpentry preferred.

Driver’s License - Valid NM driver’s license and clean driving record are strongly desired.

Physical Requirements:

• Candidates must be capable of performing laborious tasks over extended periods of time. Incumbents are exposed to dangerous equipment and to heat, cold, rain, noise, and other adverse conditions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, wet, and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles.
