Job Summary

Performs duties concerning direct and indirect patient care as assigned. Coordinates non-clinical activities of the patient care unit, transcribes physician orders, performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains the medical record of all patients on the assigned unit.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
• Medical terminology, computer skills and clerical experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Work Schedule

• Day/Night Shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • Every other weekend
  • Every third holiday
  • Occasional on-call

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
