We are seeking a Legal Assistant to manage the critical process of service for foreclosure complaints and processing default applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of process service for foreclosure complaints, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare and file service-related documents, including affidavits of service and proofs of mailing.
• Process default applications, including preparing necessary documents and ensuring compliance with court rules.
• Coordinate with process servers to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
• Track and update service and default application statuses using case management systems.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel regarding service and default application updates.
• Ensure compliance with New Jersey court rules and regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a legal assistant or support role (foreclosure or creditors' rights experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with New Jersey foreclosure laws (or a willingness to learn).
