Utility/Material Handler at Peak Plastics LLC – CONSTANTINE, Michigan

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Utility/Material Handler to join our team. As a Utility/Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the movement, storage, and organization of materials and supplies within our facility.
This position will work 1st shift hours Monday-Thursday 6AM-4PM some weekends may be required.

• Load, unload, and transport materials, supplies, and equipment using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
• Assist in the set-up and breakdown of work areas, including the placement and movement of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient and effective flow of materials and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in a material handling or warehouse environment.
• Proficient in the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Able to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
