Part Time Parts Delivery Driver at THOMPSON & JOHNSON EQUIPMENT CO INC – East Syracuse, New York

Seeking a Part-Time Parts Delivery Driver to load, unload and deliver parts to various customer locations.

Load and drive pickup truck and/or van to deliver parts required by customer in an efficient, courteous, safe and timely manner ensuring product integrity during transit.

Part Time M-F 10am-2pm (on occasion may start a little earlier or needed to stay a little later)

• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking fuel, oil and water levels.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as route directions, safety rules, parts catalogs, and written instructions.
• Ability to follow directions and job completion tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
• Ability to work independently with minimum direction.
• Ability to lift 100lbs

Must have at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid Driver License free of major infractions.
