IT Technician

Summary Objective

Stellar Energy is seeking a motivated IT Technician eager to develop their skills and grow into higher technical and professional responsibilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, curious, and proactive, someone who thrives on problem-solving, takes initiative to learn new technologies, and leverages both company-sponsored education and self-directed study to continually improve. This position supports end users, assists with daily IT operations, and contributes to projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and network infrastructure. The role is hands-on, growth-focused, and provides opportunities for advancement in a dynamic, forward-looking IT environment.

  • Essential Functions Provide Tier 2–3 technical support for Windows and some macOS/iOS devices, including hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), Azure AD/Entra ID environments and local Active Directory environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain devices via Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access, authentication, and device performance.
  • Log, track, and update user requests and incidents in the company ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and reporting.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user how-to guides.
  • Participate in IT projects, able to take ownership from planning through delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify technological improvements and efficiencies.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Location

This position is based at our Fort Worth, TX location facility.

Work Environment
Professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and conference rooms. Familiarity with manufacturing facilities and related technical environments is a plus.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally:

  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, or hear.
  • Lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require occasional weekend work.

Travel
Some travel maybe required to report to and support our other Jacksonville locations.

Required Education and Experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and iOS platforms.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Intune administration.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
