About This Position
LINK Staffing is seeking a highly organized and steady Training Specialist Specialist to strengthen branch operations through internal staff training, process reinforcement, and operational consistency across our Houston-area branches.
This role is designed to support long-term growth by developing people, reinforcing best practices, and creating consistency across teams. The ideal candidate brings a calm, uplifting presence, is highly process-oriented, and is comfortable coaching and supporting internal staff in a fast-paced environment.
The Training Specialist will serve as a support and development resource and will only assist with recruiting coverage in urgent or emergency situations.
Internal Staff Training & Development (Core Focus)
- Deliver hands-on, bilingual training for branch staff on core workflows and standards, ensuring consistent execution across locations by validating competency through observation, teach-back, checklists, and practical assessments
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve hands-on training programs to ensure branch staff consistently execute core processes accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to create simple, repeatable training and job aids that work in fast-paced branch environments—translating workflows into practical checklists and quick-reference tools, reinforcing usage through follow-ups/spot checks, and driving consistent adoption even under time pressure.
- Own the creation, standardization, and ongoing maintenance of branch SOPs to ensure consistent execution across locations. Capture workflows from SMEs, convert them into clear, branch-usable documentation (checklists, screenshots, decision trees), manage version control, and drive adoption through training, rollout communication, and scheduled reviews.
- Reinforce consistent execution of procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and service quality
- Support both new and tenured staff in understanding expectations, systems, and best practices
- Partner with branch leadership to identify training needs and opportunities for process improvement
- Serve as a steady, approachable resource for questions related to policies, procedures, and internal systems
- Promote a calm, positive, and supportive environment that encourages accountability and growth
Branch Support & Operational Consistency
- Provide flexible operational support across branches as needed
- Assist during peak periods, special initiatives, or short-term coverage needs
- Support employee communication and issue resolution in coordination with branch leadership
- Help ensure consistency in how LINK’s processes are applied across locations
Recruiting Support (Limited / Emergency Use Only)
- Provide recruiting assistance only during urgent staffing needs or unexpected coverage gaps
- Support candidate communication in both English and Spanish when required
- Assist recruiting teams as a backup resource, not as a primary function
Process & Administrative Excellence
- Reinforce standardized workflows and internal controls
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to company guidelines
- Identify opportunities to improve organization, clarity, and operational effectiveness
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) — required
- Proven training and development capability demonstrated through a relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience, with the ability to translate processes into clear instruction, job aids, and measurable competency outcomes.
- Branch-Floor Training & Documentation Adoption
- Hands-On Training & Competency Verification
- Demonstrated ability to document operational workflows into practical SOPs and job aids, maintain a disciplined governance process (owners, review cadence, change log/versioning), and ensure field adoption through training reinforcement, spot checks/audits, and continuous improvement based on frontline feedback.
- Strong organizational skills with a highly process-driven mindset
- Calm, steady, and professional presence
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities while maintaining consistency
- Experience in staffing, coaching, operations support, or customer service
- Interest in learning the staffing industry and growing with LINK
- Experience working with diverse teams and environments
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on team development and retention
- High-visibility role supporting operational excellence and scalability
