A structural metal fabrication facility in the Sanford, NC area is hiring a Forklift Operator for outdoor yard work. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position on 1st shift with pay starting at $19.00/hour and going up to $22.00/hour based on experience.

You will be operating large forklifts in an outdoor yard environment, moving and staging heavy structural materials. This is hands-on, physical work in all weather conditions. If you have forklift experience and you show up and do the job, there is a clear path to permanent employment here.

• Pay: $19.00-$22.00/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Type: Temp-to-Hire - strong performers convert to permanent employment
• Location: Sanford, NC
• Start: Immediate

• Operate large forklifts to load, unload, and transport structural metal materials throughout the yard
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues before starting
• Stage and organize materials to keep production flow on track
• Coordinate with shop and production teams to ensure material availability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment

• Forklift experience required - yard or outdoor operation is a strong plus
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required to apply
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions year-round
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and sustain physical labor throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance - this role converts to permanent for people who show up
