Compensation: $17 per hour

Role Summary:
MPG is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Office Assistant to support daily operations in a busy mental health practice. This role also helps support clinicians and ensures a clean, welcoming environment for clients and staff.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and families, answer calls, and alert appropriate staff members.
- Schedule, reschedule, and respond to appointment cancellations.
- Maintain office organization, including restocking supplies, organizing the toy closet and shared resources, and ensuring furniture and office spaces are properly arranged.
- Perform daily office walkthroughs to ensure rooms, waiting areas, and shared spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Maintain and restock office supplies, bathroom supplies, snacks, and other shared resources.
- Scan and upload documents to the appropriate EMR system, ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure proper handling and shredding of confidential documents.
- Assist with inventory management and receiving packages or mail deliveries.
- Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues including copiers, scanners, and printers, and assist with basic office technology setup when needed.
- Provide administrative support to clinicians and assist with team-building events as needed.
- Open and close office, ensuring all equipment, machines, and supplies are properly managed (e.g., water, snacks, lights, Keurig, etc.).
- Maintain overall office cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
- Schedule vendors and coordinate maintenance for facilities operations as needed.
- Report facility, maintenance, or equipment issues to the Practice Manager.
- Assist with office space organization and preparation for clinician sessions.
- Support additional administrative or operational tasks as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $17 per hour; paid bi-weekly

Preferred Schedule:
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and task management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to work independently and execute tasks or small projects with minimal supervision.
- Positive, friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Preferred: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and management of Protected Health Information (PHI) is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Willingness to learn and grow with a dynamic, expanding practice.
