We are now looking for an experienced Head of Revenue & Commercial Optimisation to join our senior leadership team and drive revenue performance across our sites.

The Head of Revenue & Commercial Optimisation is a senior analytical and commercially focused role reporting directly to the CEO. The postholder will be Zip World's expert in revenue management, yield optimisation, and capacity utilisation across all bookable inventory. Working at the intersection of data, marketing, and operations, this person will translate booking behaviour and demand signals into clear, actionable recommendations then ensure those recommendations are implemented effectively across the business.

Whilst primarily commercial in nature, the role requires a deep technical proficiency in yield management and data analysis. The postholder will own pricing strategy, manage dynamic capacity allocation, identify and close latent revenue gaps, and build the analytical infrastructure to support data-led decision-making at speed. They will act as the CEO's primary commercial advisor and be expected to influence both the marketing and operations functions to align around revenue performance.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact senior role leading the development and delivery of Zip World’s revenue management and pricing strategy, ensuring we maximise utilisation, optimise pricing, and unlock new commercial opportunities across our bookable experiences.

Working at the intersection of data, marketing, and operations, you will turn booking behaviour and demand insights into clear actions that improve revenue performance across the business.

What will this role entail

Revenue & Pricing Strategy

  • Lead the development and management of Zip World’s dynamic pricing and yield optimisation strategy across all bookable experiences, events, packages and lodging.

  • Monitor booking behaviour and demand patterns to identify revenue opportunities, peak demand periods and capacity gaps.

  • Develop pricing models that account for seasonality, booking lead times, weather sensitivity and product demand.

Capacity & Booking Optimisation

  • Oversee the live booking calendar across all sites and experiences, managing capacity releases, availability adjustments and responses to cancellations or late availability.

  • Ensure marketing activity aligns with demand and availability to drive bookings during softer periods.

  • Support operational teams with forward visibility of capacity changes to enable effective planning.

Data, Reporting & Forecasting

  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards that provide real-time visibility of commercial performance by analysing site and product-level performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Develop and track key revenue KPIs including utilisation rates, revenue per available slot, and average order value.

  • Deliver regular commercial performance insights and recommendations to the CEO and board.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the commercial link between marketing and operations, ensuring alignment around revenue goals whilst championing a commercial and revenue-aware culture across the organisation.

  • Influence marketing campaigns, content timing and promotional activity using booking data.

  • Identify operational constraints that may limit revenue growth and propose practical solutions.

Systems & Commercial Infrastructure

  • Lead the optimisation of the company’s booking platform to support dynamic pricing and capacity management.

  • Identify and implement technology tools that enhance revenue management capability whilst ensuring data accuracy and integrity across booking, POS and CRM systems to support reliable analysis.

  • Develop pricing models that account for seasonality, booking lead times, weather sensitivity and product demand.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in revenue management, yield optimisation or commercial pricing within leisure, tourism, hospitality or another bookable-inventory business.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting demand forecasts, pricing models and performance data.

  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets and experience using BI tools such as Power BI.

  • Experience working with booking or reservation systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn data insights into commercial action and measurable results.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a multi-site leisure, attraction or hospitality environment.

  • Familiarity with dynamic pricing platforms or revenue management systems.

  • Experience presenting commercial performance to board or investor level.
