We are seeking an experienced Second Shift CNC Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

Position Summary
The Second Shift CNC Team Lead is a working leadership role responsible for supporting machinists, ensuring quality compliance, driving schedule adherence, and maintaining shop floor discipline during second shift operations. This individual will lead by example through technical expertise and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support second shift machinists in daily production activitiesSet up and/or operate complex CNC lathe and milling machines as neededTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues in real timeEnsure adherence to drawings, operation sheets, and GD&T requirementsOversee first-piece and in-process inspections using standard measuring equipmentEnsure proper documentation in ERP and completion of required quality recordsCoordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve issues quicklyMaintain shift communication logs and provide clear handoff to first shift leadershipPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementSupport Lean initiatives and waste reduction effortsQualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required5+ years CNC machining experience (Lathe and/or Milling)Multi-axis machining experience preferredPrior leadership or lead experience strongly preferredAerospace or precision component manufacturing experience requiredStrong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretationExperience performing in-process inspectionsLean manufacturing experience a plusStrong communication and team-building skillsWhat We’re Looking For
