Medical Assistant - Float at Holyoke Medical Center – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center and Holyoke Medical Group, provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts. Services include specialty services, adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care.

Our team is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to float between all practices as needed to perform duties within the scope of responsibility of a medical assistant, with additional tasks related to patient flow in the office. Duties include, but are not limited to, escorting patient into the clinical area, taking vital signs and documenting them in the patient record; obtaining history of the current visit and documenting information in the patient's record.

REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent; successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program; two years of general experience as a medical assistant in a patient care or clinic environment. Must be registered/certified with one of the following: RMA/AMT, CMA/AAMA, or CCMA/NHA; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
