Project ManagerLocation: Cresson, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time About Us We are a rail services provider specializing in track maintenance, panel replacement, panel lifting operations, and wheel truing support for freight, industrial, and transit rail systems. We work directly with railroads and industrial rail users, delivering safe, reliable, and efficient field services. Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of rail track maintenance and wheel truing projects. This role requires practical knowledge of track construction and maintenance operations, strong coordination skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and field executionCoordinate track access, work windows, and safety proceduresLead crews and subcontractors performing track panel replacement, lifting, and rail maintenanceSupport wheel truing schedules, reporting, and quality controlEnsure compliance with FRA regulations and host railroad safety rulesMaintain project documentation, client reporting, and progress trackingConduct site visits, safety meetings, and operational reviews Qualifications 3+ years of rail Maintenance of Way, track construction, or industrial rail project management experienceWorking knowledge of rail track structure, panel handling, or renewal activitiesUnderstanding of on-track safety rules and railroad operating environmentsProven ability to manage crews, timelines, and budgets Preferred Skills Experience with wheel truing or wheel shop processesPrevious supervisor/foreman/roadmaster experienceFamiliarity with railroad dispatching, track occupancy requests, and shutdown planningAbility to read track standards/specifications and interpret maintenance work plans What We Offer Competitive compensationHealth benefits packageGrowth and career development opportunitiesA supportive, safety-focused environment Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
