Position DescriptionReporting to the Facilities Manager (FM) of The Sanneh Foundation (TSF), the Facilities Operator (OM) positionis a full-time position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the ConwayCommunity Center. This position will work closely with the Administrative and Conway Programming teams toimprove and ensure that the highest levels of quality, efficiency and productivity of operational functions areachieved.
Role and ResponsibilitiesFacility Support, Maintenance, and Program Support ~ 80%
Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the Conway Park Community Center (inside and outside grounds) as identified in the Sanneh Foundation Use Agreement with the City of Saint Paul and the Conway Center Manual.Execute and maintain the facility daily cleaning log.Identify and document maintenance requests for repair.Perform safety and security checks at facilities on a daily basis.Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stored in the appropriate spaces at Conway Park.Perform general maintenance on recreation and other community center facilities.Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Memorandums concerning facility safety,compliance, and cleanliness.Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are followed on a daily basis.Communicate and coordinate with contracted janitorial staff to ensure services scope is being metSet up recreational facilities for events and programs.
Food and Nutrition Services
The incumbent in this position will occasionally perform the following functions to assist the Food andSupport nutritional services programs, as well as various enrichment programming for youth.Document and report program services numbers to the Nutritional Services team.Maintaining all food safety guidelines set forth by the MN Dept. of Health, as well as variouscontracted food service partners at all times.Delivery and mobile distribution of nutritional resources and supplies to the participants andpartners.
Other Duties as Assigned ~ 10%Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the Sanneh Athletics Dome.
Education Requirements 2 to 4 years of postsecondary or equivalentExperience working with diverse populations.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Results-driven, solution focused and creative.Strong organizational, accuracy and attention to detail skills.Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Must be a problem solver who is also willing to take responsibility for facility tasks.Emotional maturity and adaptability to workload demand and requests are required.Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if necessary.Ability to utilize complete discretion while handling confidential and sensitive information.
