About This Position

This position will mostly support our Emergency Medical Services courses and labs, but will also support the Criminal Justice department. Performs paraprofessional duties in support of one or more instructional disciplines. Typical duties for all paraprofessionals are listed below. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required:&nbsp;<br><br><p style="margin: 15px 0px; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;" id="isPasted"><strong style=" font-weight: 700;"><u>Emergency Medical Services</u></strong></p><ol start="1" type="1" style="padding-left: 40px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px;"><li>Maintain inventories and order supplies</li><li>Obtain quotes for supplies and equipment</li><li>Set up scenario’s per instructors direction</li><li>Disposal of sharps and medical waste</li><li>Maintain and oversee classroom equipment</li><li>Minor repairs on equipment</li><li>Schedule major repairs on equipment</li><li>Stock ambulances</li><li>Transport and set up equipment at CREST</li><li>Maintain medical equipment and supplies</li><li>Complete requisitions for orders</li></ol><p id="isPasted"><strong><u>Criminal Justice</u></strong></p><ol start="1" type="1" style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li>Maintain inventories and order supplies</li><li>Set up scenario’s per instructors direction</li><li>Disposal of chemical waste</li><li>Maintain and oversee CRJ Lab equipment</li><li>Minor repairs on equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Schedule major repairs on equipment</li></ol><p><br></p>

<br><strong>EDUCATION:&nbsp;</strong><br><br>An Associate Degree or higher with a minimum of 16 college credit hours in Emergency Medical Services<br><br><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong><br><br>Must possess and maintain a current and valid Michigan driver's license.
