Location: Beechworth

Due to continual growth we are looking to expand our amazing team and have the opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and engaging Personal Care Disability Support Worker to join us!

We’re on the lookout for flexible, committed, and compassionate support workers who are experienced or ready to grow in working with individuals and providing them with personal care.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all role — and we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

**Must be available mornings, evenings and weekends.

**Must have relevant experience with personal care and behaviours.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting in group activities and outings.
  • Providing in home and in community respite.
  • Support participants in our respite house facility.
  • Assisting with light domestic duties, personal hygiene, providing meals and other health and wellness related activities.
  • Assisting to develop independence and build on life skills.
  • Supporting clients with personal care and hoist supports.

About you:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Current and clear Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Qualifications or experience highly desirable
