SUMMARY

The Regulatory Compliance Technician provides administrative and regulatory support to ensure Medwiz Pharmacy’s compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws, DEA regulations, CMS requirements, and PBM standards. This position assists with maintaining pharmacy and staff licenses, tracking compliance documentation, preparing for audits and inspections, and supporting daily functions of the Compliance Department. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple regulatory processes across multiple states.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations, including DEA, FDA, CMS, and Board of Pharmacy requirements.

· Assist in preparing documentation for DEA and Board of Pharmacy reporting (e.g., theft/loss, inventory discrepancies).

· Maintain organized, audit ready documentation and ensure corrective actions are tracked and completed

· Support collection and verification of date for compliance reports, audits, and policy reviews

· Assist in preparing the pharmacy for audits, inspections, and credentialing reviews by regulatory agencies, PBM’s, and accrediting bodies

· Maintain compliance department’s documentation system including annual trainings, licenses, and personnel

· Track employee policy acknowledgements and compliance training completion records

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or GED required

· NJ Pharmacy Technician License required

· Associate’s in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field preferred

· 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare compliance, or regulatory administration

· Knowledge of DEA, FDA, CMS, and Board of Pharmacy regulations preferred.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
