What We're Looking For

-Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

-CPA (active or pursuing) strongly preferred

-Undergraduate GPA above 3.4 preferred

-Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles

-Understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes

-Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)

-36+ years of public accounting experience (audit or advisory) and/or combination of public accounting and industry experience required

-Demonstrated experience managing or owning components of the month-end close process

-Experience working with financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis

-Exposure to process improvements, system implementations, or accounting projects strongly preferred

-Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets

-Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

-High ethical and confidentiality standards

-Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive projects to completion

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

-Strong communication skills across accounting and non-accounting teams

-Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

-Demonstrated ability to problem solve and improve processes

What You'll Do

-Own and manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

-Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

-Analyze financial results and investigate variances

-Assist with preparation of internal financial reporting packages

-Support external auditors and coordinate audit requests

-Lead or support accounting projects and system implementations, including process improvements and automation initiatives

-Assist with development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

-Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams

-Mentor and support junior accounting team members when needed

-Monitor and improve accounting workflows to drive efficiency and scalability

Our Bootcamp accounting training program will be provided for new WebFX team members, along with ongoing professional development opportunities.

What You'll Get

$80K$90K (depending on experience), plus opportunity for additional bonus

This position offers flexibility in hours and work-from-home options. The ideal candidate would be in the office (post-training) 3+ days per week. Flexible working hours are available for the right candidate.
