About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is responsible for handling shipping and receiving tasks, job will calls, warranty checking, parts delivery, core tracking, and general warehouse maintenance. Additionally, this person will assist the Purchasing Specialist with various duties as needed.Key Responsibilities:Manage all shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in shipments and deliveries.Conduct job 'Will Calls' to ensure parts and materials are available for upcoming tasks.Perform warranty checks to validate product status and process claims when necessary.Deliver parts to various locations in a timely and efficient manner.Track and manage core returns to ensure compliance with company policies.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including inventory management and upkeep.Assist the Purchasing Specialist with order tracking, vendor communication, and procurement tasks.Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficiency of the purchasing and warehouse operations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.Valid driver's license and clean driving record for parts delivery.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Work Schedule:Part-time hours with a flexible schedule.May include occasional weekends based on business needs.Compensation:Competitive hourly wage based on experience.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.If you are a highly motivated individual looking to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this role!
