Power Mobility Technician- ATP Certified at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Licensed ATP to work under our Power Mobility Intake Specialist position to assist customers at our Home Medical Equipment! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Home Medical Equipment proudly serves 8 counties in southwest Missouri. Our services include respiratory( oxygen, c-pap equip and all supplies needed), mobility services including( walkers, rollators, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and scooters), bath aids, crutches, compression hosiery, and lift chairs. HME also has a mastectomy dept. We work directly with patients and their providers to properly bill for equipment. We also provide delivery and set up of equipment as well as education of equipment. While we have many dept’s within HME, we all work together to strive to exceed the expectation of each patient.

A typical day includes:

• Evaluating, building, and ordering Group 2, Group 3, and above patient chairs
• Slight travel within our service area
• Presenting the consumer and referral sources with complete information on the choices of available equipment, prices, funding options, and the consumer's financial responsibility
• Taking requisitions for equipment set-up or return

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Clerical training and collection experience preferred
• Experience: Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for complex chairs preferred, 1 year clerical and collection work experience preferred
• Skills: Computer, Customer Service
• Licensure/Certification: Family and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment, Valid Driver’s License
• Physical: The ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%

The position is Full Time Days, 8:30a.m-5:00p.m
