Job Overview:
SmartChoice is looking for a strategic, technically fluent Go‑to‑Market Product Marketer to drive positioning, messaging, and launch execution for a new proprietary SaaS platform—built for IT teams who need visibility, reliability, and control across complex, hybrid telecom environments.
You’ll be the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing Demand Generation, ensuring our solutions land with clarity, credibility, and commercial impact. What You’ll Own:
1. Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop differentiated, customer‑centric messaging that clearly articulates the value of our SaaS platform (monitoring, observability, network performance, infrastructure management, etc.).
- Translate technical features into business outcomes for IT Ops, DevOps, SRE (site reliability engineering), and MSP audiences.
- Build competitive positioning frameworks that help Sales win in crowded markets.
2. Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Launch Execution
- Own end‑to‑end GTM planning for new features, releases, and product lines.
- Partner with Product Management to define target personas, use cases, and value drivers.
- Build launch assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, battlecards, and customer‑facing content.
3. Sales Enablement
- Equip Sales and Customer Success with the tools they need to convert and expand accounts.
- Create training materials, demo narratives, objection‑handling guides, and competitive insights.
- Support pipeline acceleration with persona‑specific messaging and campaign hooks.
4. Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends across IT operations, observability, cloud infrastructure, and security‑adjacent categories.
- Analyze competitors (e.g., SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, PRTG, Auvik, and ManageEngine, etc.) to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Feed insights back into product strategy and GTM planning.
5. Content & Thought Leadership
- Produce high‑quality content that positions the company as a trusted authority: whitepapers, webinars, solution guides, blog posts, and customer stories.
- Collaborate with Demand Gen to fuel campaigns with compelling narratives and proof points.
What You’ll Bring
- 4–8+ years in Product Marketing, GTM, or Technical Marketing—ideally in SaaS, IT operations, observability, or infrastructure software.
- Strong understanding of IT buyers: IT Ops, DevOps, SRE, NOC teams, MSPs, and system administrators.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into crisp, differentiated messaging.
- Experience leading cross‑functional launches and driving measurable GTM outcomes.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working with product managers, engineers, marketing and sales teams in a fast‑moving environment.
