The Fulfillment Technician (Morning Shift) will be responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and distributing compounded medications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting healthcare providers and improving patient outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions
  • Track and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations
  • Ensure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers
  • Monitor and replenish medication supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service

What We Require

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environment

Preferred

  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
  • Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applications
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Lifefile, PioneerRx, QS/1, or other applicable platforms)
  • Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while preparing and fulfilling prescriptions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
  • Ability to maintain focus in a typical pharmacy/office environment with moderate noise levels
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing, labeling, and packaging
