Host at Cafe Tu Tu Tango – ORLANDO, Florida

Position Description:

Do you have extraordinary hospitality? We are seeking an outgoing and organized host to join our team! As a host, you will make every guest feel welcome, comfortable, and valued, while also ensuring that every guest leaves with an extraordinary experience.

Alexandria Restaurant Partners locations include Adas on the River, Barca Pier & Wine Bar, Caf Tu Tu Tango, Mias Italian Kitchen, Palette 22, Theismanns, The Royal, and Volas Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner when they arrive. Open the door for departing guests when possible.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer guests questions.
• Manages reservations using our reservation system and ensures accurate information during each booking.
• Maintains knowledge of restaurant information, menu items, specials/promotions, parking availability, and basic knowledge of the neighborhood.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Assist in building and maintaining a team-oriented workplace by bringing a positive, consistent work ethic and participation level to each shift.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications -

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Communicate effectively.
• Works well under pressure and is self-motivated.
• High-level organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and self-driven.
• High level of awareness, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• High-level multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to perform at a high level during volume and pressure situations.
• Must speak and understand English.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Able to grasp, lift, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat.
• Able to work in a confined area.
• Must possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergencies; and to distinguish product, taste, texture, temperature, presentation, and preparation.
