Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation Manager at TidalHealth – Salisbury, Maryland

The Manager is a professional supportive position under the supervision of the Senior Director of Physical Medicine. The Manager is a licensed professional who is responsible for patient care. The Manager will plan and provide care to patients, reflecting individual patient needs in accordance with the State Practice Act and policies of the organization. The Manager will also be responsible for coordinating all therapy related activities on a day-to-day basis. This includes but is not limited to meetings, inservices, etc. The Manager is involved in assisting the Senior Director in developing and compiling reports, data, etc on the program they supervise. They will also be responsible for/or will have budgetary/capital expenditures, supply ordering supervision, billing/coding expertise and be responsible for scheduling and coordination of other staff (PT, OT, SLP, students, aides, support and billing staff) that may work in their designated area. The Manager will also have responsibility and accountability for program development, staff education and the promotion of such within the organization as well as external parties. The direct treatment of patients will be required as indicated by National Professional Organizations and State Licensing agencies. The Manager will ensure that the Standard of Care for PT/OT/SLP are followed.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist Program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
• Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Current state licensure and CPR certified.

Experience

• 5 years of experience as a Therapist
• Supervisory experience preferred
