Overview
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales targets.
- Build and leverage highlevel relationships with hospitality specifiers and accounts to grow a longterm opportunity pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand business within assigned hotel brands and position Lutron as the basis of design for future projects.
- Recommend Lutron solutions that drive longterm market success and secure recurring specification.
- Lead account development and growth plans to establish repeatable strategies for winning business.
- Partner with Eastern US Area Leaders to ensure specifiers are trained, contractors are engaged, and project activity is supported.
- Collaborate with enduser and spec teams to expand Lutron’s presence with developers and owners in the hospitality sector.
- Assess and implement plans to upskill HTIs in the region.
- Conduct targeted, highimpact events to drive specifications and strategic project sales.
- Provide customer insights to the business unit to inform new products, tools, and marketing assets for the hospitality market.
- Travel as required (approximately 40–60%).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development—preferably within hospitality, lighting, design, or related technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic accounts and driving longterm revenue growth.
- Proven relationshipbuilding skills with experience engaging seniorlevel stakeholders.
- Ability to develop account strategies, influence decisionmakers, and position solutions as preferred or “basis of design.
- Solid understanding of commercial sales cycles, specification processes, and projectdriven environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Selfmotivated, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across regions.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel 40–60%
- Holds a full UK driving license
