About This Position
The Batch Production Operator is responsible for accurately weighing, dispensing, and blending raw materials according to Master Manufacturing Records and product batch specifications. This role ensures the safe operation of blending and lift equipment, proper documentation of materials and processes, and timely collection of batch samples for quality testing. The position requires close communication with departments such as QA/QC, Product Development, and Warehouse Operations to address any production issues. The operator maintains a clean and organized work environment, follows standard operating procedures and Good Documentation Practices, and supports daily start-up and shutdown processes.
General Duties:
- Responsible for gathering and weighing all necessary ingredients per Master Manufacturing Record needs.
- Responsible for dispensing raw materials into blending equipment and operating other related equipment.
- Blending of raw materials per product batch specs.
- Proper and safe operation of blending equipment and lift equipment in weight dispensing area.
- Responsible and accountable for documenting lot number, weight, any other related requirement per work instructions and SOPs.
- Collects finish batch samples in a timely manner for lab testing.
- Fills out proper forms and must follow Good Documentation Practices.
- Communication with different departments such as QA/QC, Product Development and Warehouse Operations on any issues with batch blending.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow proper procedures for daily start-up and shutdowns of respective areas.
- Assist or perform tasks given by management to support business needs.
- Crosstrain with “Material Handler” job and responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience.
Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
