A&B Business Solutions has partnered with the State of South Dakota’s Department of Labor and Regulation to provide an apprenticeship program to train qualified people to learn and perform as a Photocopy/Printer Repair Technician (program name Assembly Technician).

Goals:

Attend classroom learning about the products you’ll be servicing.Shadow an experienced Service Technician. After time, perform technician responsibilities while shadowed by an experienced Service Technician.Provide an outstanding customer experience through great communication and support.Perform field repairs and maintenance on various office equipment to manufacturers specificationsManage your day completing service calls to meeting customer expectations and company processesMaintain accurate repair records for time, part, and company assetsManage your car stock inventoryPerforms other duties as directed by Service ManagementAbility to make decisions, use the tools available and the resources of others to accomplish objectivesAble to work comfortably with a variety of customers and associatesFlexible attitude and versatility in learningHigh level of comfort using computers, tablets, phones, or other handheld devicesQualification and Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GEDBackground in electronics and/or mechanical devices a plusVocational Technical education is helpful a plusNatural mechanical or electronic abilityClean driving record and valid driver’s licenseCompensation: Starting at $19.50 per hour with no prior experience.
