Position Information
The International Student and Scholar Program Coordinator is responsible for programming that fosters the success and well-being of our international community. This includes identifying needs, developing learning outcomes, and designing and delivering professional intercultural and support programs that facilitate the educational, professional, and personal success of international students and scholars at UCR. In accordance with federal regulations mandating that sponsoring institutions provide regular orientation, informational, and cultural sessions to F-1 and J-1 students and scholars, the program coordinator is tasked with ensuring compliance with these requirements. Additionally, the Program Coordinator contributes to outreach and campus training initiatives that equip faculty, staff, and students with the necessary resources and skills to effectively contribute to an international campus environment.The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $96,400.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $56,000.00 - $66,100.00. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. Offers of employment are dependent on completing a misconduct disclosure and potential background check.
