Equipment Operator

Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator in our Charlotte, N.C. office. As an Equipment Operator, you will serve as an integral member of our engineering team. Objectives of this role

Operate a directional bore to install underground pipes
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites
Consult regularly with property owners, tenants, construction managers, and electricians
Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule and are completed successfully

Responsibilities

Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
Direct day to day field activities including the use of machinery and equipment
Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transport it
Be able to inspect equipment before usage and safely operate each
Driving or controlling equipment to complete tasks at the construction site

Skills and qualifications

Advanced knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Basic computer skills including G suite knowledge

Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely uses standard field equipment and involves traveling to job sites.
