Senior Consultant - Investment Data and Technology at Grandview Analytics – Illinois City, Illinois

Grandview Analytics provides data and technology consulting services to financial services and investment firms. Our consulting team's careers include industry expertise across investment assets, fund structures, and front-middle-back-office operational functions and technologies, including business user and project management experience in one of the above-mentioned areas. Grandview consultants serve in project-based business/data analyst roles on 3 to 18-month projects.

Full-time w2 and 1099 contract-based roles are offered. For full-time w2 roles, title (Vice President or Director) and compensation will vary based on experience and skills, and include competitive health, wealth and paid time off benefits. Annual base salary for VP and Director ranges from $150,000 - 200,000 based upon experience, skills and level), and a target annual company and individual performance-based bonus. Start dates are aligned to project kickoff dates (generally expected in Q2-Q3).

Senior Consultant/Senior Business Analyst - Investment Data & Technology with at least 10 years of investment industry, data analysis and project management experience

• Minimum 10 years of investment industry experience in front-middle-backoffice-IT functions
• Either broad investment asset class knowledge, or deep subject matter expertise of 1+ asset type including data elements, asset lifecycle, and associated technology and operational processes (examples, equity, fixed income, derivatives, bank loans, private credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, crypto, etc.)
• Hands-on experience as a business user of 1+ investment technology platform across front-middle-backoffice-IT (examples: Aladdin, CRIMS, FactSet, Bloomberg, Allvue, SimCorp, WSO, Sentry, etc.)
• Project management experience implementing and optimizing investment technology, Agile/SCRUM fluent, experience with Jira and reporting project status for stakeholders and SteerCo.
• Strong business analyst skill set - requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, user adoption
• Data analysis, data model, data management mindset - able to analyze large data sets, extract data using SQL scripts, ETL/ELT and data mapping; Advanced Excel, PowerBi/Tableau, PowerApps/automation/AI tools; some roles may require Python; experience with cloud- based data platforms like Snowflake and DataBricks preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
• Hybrid role based in Chicago or New York City, onsite at client 2-3 days per week
