The Rawlins Market President is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operations of the Rawlins Main location, with oversight of the East and Hanna branches by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all necessary repairs, construction and remodeling of the Rawlins branch facility.
  • Coordinates and communicates with CEO, Operations Officer and HR Officer or IT, as necessary and appropriate, on any major decisions affecting the Rawlins branch.
  • Maintains current awareness of market conditions in Rawlins and the surrounding communities.
  • Responsible for actively growing the business of both loan and deposit volumes, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth within the market for the bank.
  • Leverages local market networks and centers of influence to identify, prospect, and pursue business opportunities to hit market goals.
  • Conducts business development activities to promote the growth and development of the Bank, helping to build and strengthen brand awareness and the Bank’s reputation.
  • Develop long-lasting banking relationships by uncovering client’s needs, ensuring proposed solutions fulfill clients’ needs and objectives through a holistic and tailored goals-based planning approach by delivering knowledgeable advice and solutions.
  • Actively solicits and interviews loan customers and collects and analyzes financial data to determine the general creditworthiness of a prospect and the merits of a loan request. Makes credit decisions within range of authority and policies.
  • Serves as a voting member of Loan Committee who evaluates loan requests. Presents information to Loan Committee when credit requests are above range of authority and policies and attends for informational purposes.
  • Ensures the protection of the Bank’s interest in matters of adequate documentation and adherence to Bank loan policy and the various laws and regulations applicable to credit.
  • Adheres to applicable Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
  • Participates in community events, organizations, and activities in Rawlins and surrounding communities.
  • Actively pursues collection of delinquent loans and resolutions of problem credits.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for staffing of the Rawlins Main branch in conjunction with the Human Resources Department.
  • Provides daily staff guidance and motivation.
  • Completes and reviews employee evaluations.
  • Recommends salary changes, disciplinary actions and problem resolution.
  • Schedules time off and work schedules among staff.
  • Interviews and hires potential new hires for Rawlins Main branch loan.
  • Coordinates with Marketing department for the Rawlins market.

NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compiles and reports financial data as required.
  • Encourages attendance at community events from officers and employees.
  • Provides market reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Four years related job experience in Branch Management, Consumer and Commercial Lending, Sales and/or Business Development.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
