Job Description
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, observation and evaluation of nursing care functions and performance relating to the nursing team. Concerned with patient care, treatment, safety and comfort during assigned shift.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current license to practice nursing in New York State. One-year (1) RN experience preferred, preferably in a critical care setting. Must possess current CPR certification before patient care can commence. ACLS and PALS certifications prior to the end of unit orientation are required. Completion of ENA orientation modules assigned within 1 year of employment in the Emergency Department. New graduate nurses or newly licensed nurses are required to take the Nurse Residency Class. TNCC, ENPC and CEN are highly recommended.
ACLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. New graduates must obtain ACLS certification within 18 months of hire.
Salary:
- Hourly rate: $39.86-$51.37 commensurate with experience
- Shift differentials: $7.00 per hour for evening shifts, $8.00 per hour for night shifts, and an additional $2.20 per hour for weekend shifts.
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shifts:
- Day - 7am-7:30pm
- Evening - 11am-11:30pm
- Night - 7p-7a
- With rotating weekends and holidays
