Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.
Position Overview
Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
The Quality Control (QC) Manager ensures that our products meet established standards, safety regulations, and client requirements by overseeing Quality processes, analyzing data, and implementing improvements. Reporting to the Site Quality Director, the QC Manager leads quality teams and functions to include (but not limited to) First Article Inspection, Calibration, Document Scanning and Retention, Training, Material Review Board, Stamp Control and the FAA Drug and Alcohol program.
What You’ll Do
- Process Improvement: Developing, implementing, and reviewing quality-related procedures, standards, and specifications to enhance optimal product quality.
- Process Oversight: Supervising QC technicians and operators to ensure quality processes are effective in detecting and correcting process gaps.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring products and processes comply with legal obligations, industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001), and health/safety regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilizing data to identify defects, analyze patterns, and generate performance reports to drive improvements.
Who You Are
- 3+ years in quality assurance/control, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office, data analysis tools, and familiarity with quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- AS9100 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM).
