ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Packaging Consultant to join our consulting team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a home-based role offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of client projects across packaging, sustainability, and technology.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy services, working closely with both clients and internal teams. The role combines technical packaging expertise with a strong interest in technology-driven solutions, supporting innovative tools and services that help clients meet their sustainability and business goals.
While this is initially a fixed-term position, there is potential for the role to become permanent, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver client and internal consultancy projects across packaging, sustainability, regulatory, structural, and technology areas
  • Produce high-quality client-facing materials, including reports, presentations, strategy documents, and process mapping
  • Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage stakeholders and deliver project outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Support project scoping, proposal development, and costings in collaboration with internal teams
  • Review and provide feedback on project materials to ensure quality and consistency
  • Lead scoping and implementation phases of technology solutions, including workflow mapping and stakeholder coordination
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance product features and ensure solutions meet client needs
  • Contribute to business development activities, including supporting new opportunities and growing existing client accounts
  • Stay up to date with packaging, sustainability, and industry innovations to enhance client delivery

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in client-facing roles, with the ability to build and manage relationships
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams across functions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of packaging, with a genuine interest in sustainability and technology solutions

  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience in packaging consultancy, sustainability, or related fields
  • Exposure to digital tools or technology platforms within packaging or sustainability
  • Experience contributing to proposals, business development, or marketing content

  • Key Competencies

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to support business growth
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on practical solutions
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality work
  • Clear and confident communication

  • This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy environment, working at the intersection of packaging, sustainability, and technology, with the flexibility of a home-based role.
