Job Description

Description:

The Service Manager oversees repair and rework operations for the organization. They analyze and respond to customer complaints and requests regarding repair or rework of goods the organization sells, provide cost estimates, ensure enough resources to make repairs or rework parts.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees staffing, scheduling, and production of new construction and repairs. ? Oversees repair technicians and project managers.
  • Maintains staffing within the division. ? Processes warranty claims.
  • Creates purchase orders for materials necessary to complete jobs.
  • Manages division inventory.
  • Oversees and occasionally performs repairs/rework as needed.
  • Handles customer complaints, questions, and concerns.
  • Assists Accounts Receivable on invoicing and collections.
  • Maintains an accurate and updated customer database.
  • Processes payroll for subcontractors and branch employees.
  • Proposes modifications to service processes and/or materials used.
  • Directs procurement of equipment and materials, supplies, and parts required to maintain repair and storage facilities.
  • Instructs employees in proper work methods and standards; monitors crew work quality; ensures adherence to time schedules and safe work practices, provides performance feedback and input into performance reviews.
  • Perform equipment repair and maintenance duties. ? Perform other job-related duties, as needed.
