RN-CMH HOS Endoscopy at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Endoscopy Unit! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Our Endoscopy Unit is housed within the Douglas Medical Center, with an additional procedure room at the Main Hospital. We perform medical procedures involving the use of endoscopes, which are specialized instruments, often featuring a camera and light source that allow doctors to visualize the interior of the body. These procedures are used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, such as examining the digestive tract, airways, and other internal organs.

A typical day includes: The Endoscopy Nurse will assist doctors with endoscopic procedures.

• Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns
• Interviewing and preparing patients for the procedures
• observing vital signs, sedating patients, administering the necessary medication and IV drips, recovering patients after procedures

• Education: Associates or Bachelors
• Experience: Patient care
• Skills: Multitasking, strong interpersonal skills
• Licensure/Certification: RN
• Physical: the ability to stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast paced environment

The position is: Part-time, Days.8-430
