Position Summary
As a Dental Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting and coordinating recommended dental treatment
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Assisting patients with financial inquiries and dental insurance coordination
- Interpreting insurance information and processing claims
- Receiving and reconciling payments (cash and credit)
- Preparing and maintaining patient documentation
- Confirming appointments and communicating with patients
- Supporting general reception and client care duties
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of post-secondary education in dental assisting, office administration, or a related field OR
- Minimum one year of relevant administrative or dental office experience
- Previous dental office experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy clinical environment
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Includes two evenings per week
- Includes one Saturday per month
