Coach Canada is actively building a talent pool of qualified Coach Drivers for future opportunities across line runs and charter services. Coach Drivers are responsible for the safe, professional operation of motorcoaches while providing excellent customer service and ensuring passenger safety and compliance. This is an ongoing posting, and qualified candidates may be contacted as openings arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate motorcoaches (up to 45 feet) in all weather and traffic conditions
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide courteous, professional customer service to passengers
- Assist passengers with luggage and accessibility needs, including wheelchair securement
- Accurately complete driver logs, reports, and fare reconciliation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Valid Ontario Class BZ licence with Z endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract and strong safety record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (motorcoach preferred)
- Ability to obtain and maintain MTO medical clearance
- Valid passport and eligibility for U.S. cross-border travel
- Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English required to ensure safe communication with passengers, dispatch, and emergency services
- Customer service experience an asset
Physical & Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to lift luggage (30–50 lbs.) and meet physical demands of commercial driving
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Ability to support a 24/7/365 operation
