Floor Technician | Mobile Team – Full Time in Lake Mary, Florida at FCS Facility Services

Position: Floor Technician (Mobile)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (Occasional weekends; start/end times vary based on project schedule)

Location: Mobile / Various Client Sites (Company vehicle provided for job site travel)

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.50 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, dependable Floor Technician to join our mobile team. In this role, you will meet with your manager at a central location each day and travel in a company vehicle to complete specialized floor care projects at various client facilities. Prior experience is required—we are happy to provide hands-on training to the right candidate who is ready to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet extraction across tile, vinyl, concrete, and carpet.

• Assist with floor restoration by removing stains, scratches, and imperfections to improve surface appearance and longevity.

• Safely operate commercial floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors (training provided).

• Travel with the team in a company vehicle to various client sites to execute scheduled projects efficiently.

• Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards and client satisfaction.

• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and proper PPE protocols.

• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is properly cleaned, stored, and inventoried.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle insurance).

• Reliable transportation to the daily team meeting site.

• Previous experience in floor care or commercial cleaning is a plus, but not required—willingness to learn is essential.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

• Flexible schedule with availability for varying start/end times based on project needs.

• Physical ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

This is a full-time, mobile position. Employees will meet at a designated location with the Floor Technician Manager before traveling in a company vehicle to assigned job sites.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. Work hours may vary depending on operational needs and scheduled floor care projects. Flexibility is required, as start and end times may change based on the project schedule.

Background Check & Drug Screening:
