About This Position

Description:

This salaried position requires a flexible schedule, which may include morning/early afternoon and evening hours, depending on current business needs, but primarily nights.

Responsibilities:

Staffing

- Coordinate with and assist any other nighttime operations manager in ensuring that all properties are staffed each night. Operations Managers should formally review all market hiring needs with the other nighttime manager at least weekly.

- Lead staffing/hiring efforts for nighttime Valet Tech positions by placing ads, vetting all applicants, and sending applications to the proper manager for next steps.

- Partner with HR to ensure that new valets complete the required training and paperwork before beginning work.

- If properties are down (valet call outs), the Operations Manager is responsible for finding coverage or completing the service themselves.

-Maintain open communication with management and employees

-Maintain accurate records and reports

Customer Support

- Follow up on any issues communicated by any valet or other nighttime manager and ensure that properties receive reports of any issues and violations noted during service.

- Respond to all calls and emails involving complaints by properties or residents within two hours. Your responses should focus on using a "customer first" mentality and tone.

- Visit each assigned propertys valet and record the visit in Orange QC at a minimum of once per month.

Working Conditions:

-This nighttime position is essential to our operations and requires emotional control under stress. You will work both indoors and outdoors, with regular and irregular hours on occasion.

Continual walking and standing, frequent heavy lifting and carrying, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching, work outside and inside, exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes and odors. Exposure to mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards, work around moving objects or vehicles.

New Property Onboarding

- When launching a new property, a daytime follow-up visit is required within 48 hours of launching. A subsequent visit is to be completed within two weeks of the start, and another two weeks after that to ensure that expectations are set and being met.

- Order, schedule, and coordinate trash can and sticker distribution for new property starts.

Company Property

- Complete monthly warehouse inventory and purchase items as required, including bags, stickers, cans and carts.

- Ensure that carts are properly maintained and repaired as needed.

- If an assigned company vehicle is out of service, the operations manager is required to have alternative transportation. G&H will reimburse documented mileage on a weekly basis at the current IRS approved rate per mile.

- Any company vehicle will only be used for G&H work purposes during scheduled hours.

-Once assigned a company vehicle, it must be used for all company work.

Requirements

-A smartphone with specific apps downloaded

-Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs

-Must be willing to submit a background check

-Have and maintain a clean driving record

-Flexibility to adjust work schedule and/or be on call during irregular business hours

-High school diploma or GED equivalent

-Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel

-Customer service, and prior people management experience
