Patient Scheduler - Pain Mgmt- PRN AS NEEDED at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Access Supervisor, is responsible for the strategic planning and daily operations of Pain SourceSolutions (PSS). Maintains and provides constant communication with each physician and nurse practitioner. Completes scheduling and priorauthorizations of each patient. Answers clinic phones and handles calls appropriately.

EXPERIENCE: General office experience/educationrequired. Prior authorization experience required. Scheduling and registration experience required.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Typing/keyboardingskills required. Excellent customer service skills required. Medical terminology required.

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent
