About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal who enjoys drafting, working independently, and becoming a subject-matter resource in guardianship and conservatorship matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their drafting skills and grow within a structured, remote environment.
This role is ideal for a strong legal drafter who may not yet have direct guardianship experience but is eager to learn. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft petitions and supporting pleadings for Guardianships and Conservatorships
- Prepare supporting documents, exhibits, and court-ready filing
- Assist with case management and tracking deadlines
- Conduct procedural and statutory research as needed
- Communicate with supervising attorneys regarding case progress
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance with court requirements
About You
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of recent paralegal experience in a court-driven practice area
- Comfortable drafting basic court pleadings and managing matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with e-filing systems and document-intensive workflows; familiarity with Clio is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone presence
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while remaining responsive during core business hours
- Reliable home office setup with secure internet and phone access
