Gus Snug Irish Pub is a friendly neighborhood gathering place in Clawson, offering hearty meals, refreshing drinks, and warm hospitality. Were looking for friendly, organized, and outgoing individuals to be the first point of contact for our guests.

Position Overview:

As a Host, you will greet guests with a warm welcome, manage reservations and waitlists, and help create a positive dining experience from the moment guests walk in until they leave. Youll also work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth seating flow and service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts.

- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant.

- Assist in keeping the host stand, entryway, and menus clean and organized.

- Communicate with servers to ensure efficient seating and service.

- Assist with light bussing and table resets when needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Positive attitude and ability to remain professional under pressure.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
