Industrial Engineer (Aviation Manufacturing)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our onsite team in Fayetteville, GA. In this role, you will design, implement, and refine production control systems that drive efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance workflow across our manufacturing operations. You’ll play a critical role in resource planning, project evaluation, and cost estimation through the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Additionally, you will maintain and customize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and delivering actionable analytics for leadership and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement production control systems to optimize cycle times and resource allocation.

• Create detailed procedures, training materials, and communication templates to support operational excellence.

• Partner with leadership and operations teams to define functional requirements and drive process improvements.

• Conduct workflow and time studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

• Perform diagnostic tests and resolve performance issues to maximize productivity.

• Ensure effective utilization of ERP software, providing technical support and customized analytics reporting.

• Document ERP processes and prepare progress updates for leadership.

• Collaborate with managers, technicians, and end-users to design and implement tailored ERP solutions.

• Stay current with ERP upgrades and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

• Collect, aggregate, and analyze operational and safety data to inform decision-making.

• Launch customized analytics reports to establish baseline metrics for warehouse and production roles.

• Track and compare projected vs. actual resource allocations by category and cost.

• Champion Lean and 5S workplace practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with continuous improvement programs, including Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business process integration.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop clear, actionable solutions.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams.

• Advanced problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
*Must be able to work 100% onsite (Fayetteville, GA) in an environment with limited temperature control.
