Position Overview:
The Seasonal Service Technician supports the upkeep and appearance of the neighborhood by performing routine grounds maintenance tasks as assigned. This role assists the Service Technician with daily operational responsibilities and ensures plants throughout the neighborhood are properly watered and maintained. The position requires strict adherence to all safety standards and procedures while completing tasks efficiently and professionally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining grounds as assigned.
- Assisting service technician with daily responsibilities.
- Watering plants throughout the neighborhood.
- Following all safety standards at all times.
- All other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications, Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Must be able to work at heights such as using a ladder or step stool and climbing stairs as needed.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces as needed.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver items up to20 pounds independently and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- Requires manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment, including repetitive hand/wrist motions.
Attendance and Scheduling:
- Job is performed in-office or onsite at a Redwood Neighborhood(s).
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for success in this role, and employees must adhere to set start times and assigned schedules.
- Must have dependable transportation to travel between Redwood Neighborhoods and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in outdoor environments, with regular exposure to heat, cold, rain, snow, and damp conditions.
- May occasionally be exposed to low-level noise from power tools and equipment.
