Westhills EVS provides interesting and dynamic work in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:
• Sports medicine
• Preventative health care
• Diagnostics and treatments
• Dentistry
• Ophthalmology
• Field Surgery
• Pre-purchase exams
• Emergency/ambulatory
Our clinic boasts a seperate treatment/appointment area with stocks and all of our diagnostic equipment in order to make patients and clients safe and secure in a climate controlled environment. Our lower barn includes a fully heated 80x150 arena for sports medicine appointments, a seperate stock for treatments or diagnostic imaging, a full hospital wing with numerous camera monitored stalls with fluid therapy capabilities, daytime turnout pens, a wash rack, a veterinarian office area and an in-house lab which includes CBC and blood chemistry analysis, automated fecal parasite analysis system, and PRP/ProStride capabilities. We opertate with several, fully stocked veterinary trucks for full service off-site capabilities.

Position DetailsLocation: Parkland County, Alberta
Employment Type: Full time, year round.
Schedule: 4 day work week, emergency call rotation.
Compensation: Competitive salary (Salary Range: $90, 000.00 to $120, 000.00 Annually), Health Savings account, liability insurance, employee discount, clothing allowance, paid licenses/dues and CE and a stocked work vehicle.
REQUIRED: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent veterinary degree) licensed to practice in Canada.
