The Banquet Captain is the fearless leader on the event floormasterfully guiding the team through the art of setting up, serving, and tidying up every banquet celebration! From orchestrating dazzling table arrangements to jumping in and lending a hand wherever needed, this superstar keeps every function running smoothly and ensures guests leave with a smile and a story to tell.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attendance Ace: Show up ready to shine, keeping up with Aimbridge Hospitalitys scheduling standardseven if your shifts change with the hotels needs. Your reliability keeps the party rolling!
• Dress to Impress: Rock your uniform and name tag with pride, following brand guidelines to keep your personal style polished and professional. Youre the face of the celebration!
• Safety Superstar: Follow all Aimbridge Hospitality rules and certificationsthink Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, and Safetyso every event runs smoothly and safely for guests and staff alike.
• Banquet Boss: Oversee the setup and service of every function, inspect event spaces, coordinate with Sales and Catering, respond to guest needs, and make sure all equipment and supplies are handled with care. Your leadership keeps everything sparkling and on track!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year of hotel or related experience and a high school diploma required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to handle stress, maintain professionalism, and show initiative on the job.
• Must meet state alcohol certification requirements and be comfortable with financial and data-related tasks.
