We believe variety is the spice of life. Cooks are expected to prepare food according to specifications using approved recipes and proper portioning. Our Cooks are also expected to adhere to strict safety, sanitation, quality and cleanliness guidelines. They conduct regular visual and taste tests to ensure food is of highest quality and prepared according to specifications. Cooks are expected to restock the front service line with prepared product during peak periods and/or in accordance with time and temperature specifications. In addition, cooks are expected to showcase the preparation of certain menu items in the front of the house and sample freshly prepared items as appropriate during peak business hours. Cooks frequently clean the kitchen area, grill, restrooms, and equipment, as well as maintain overall restaurant cleanliness. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Repetitive motion may be required.
